The JV field hockey team won 1-0 against Durfee on Thursday, being their first win of the season.

Jaque Bank got the winning goal for the team in the third quarter of the game.

She stole the ball from number 8 on Durfee, ran up the field and SCORED!!!!

The sidelines and stands were filled with both happiness and anger. The Durfee team were upset with their teammates and themselves.

After that the Durfee team were done playing nice, they shoved, kicked, and sticked the New Bedford team.

In celebration of their first ever goal, the team raced up to Jaque after that quarter, congratulating her and telling her how amazing she was.

“Good Job girls.” said Coach B

“You did it!” “wow” “that was awesome” filled the air.
